I designed the JS++ programming language, and I&#8217;ve been programming since 1997, beginning with Delphi 3\/Pascal.\u00a0You can follow me on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RogerPoon\" target=\"_blank\">Twitter<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/uk.linkedin.com\/in\/rogerpoon\" target=\"_blank\">LinkedIn<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>When we first released JS++ in October 2011, we got <a href=\"https:\/\/plus.google.com\/109206644222370272096\/posts\/Gff3qwsS8DZ\" target=\"_blank\">rave<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/bga_\/status\/123061860672094208\" target=\"_blank\">reviews<\/a>. Our release coincided with the release of Google&#8217;s Dart programming language, and we received favorable comparisons given Google Dart&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/webreflection.blogspot.com\/2011\/10\/what-is-wrong-about-17259-lines-of-code.html\" target=\"_blank\">Hello World debacle<\/a>. People were saying we <a href=\"https:\/\/plus.google.com\/+DougHolton\/posts\/YYiTepK8MUQ\" target=\"_blank\">designed a better programming language than Google<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the same spirit, we plan to continue the fight. We believe we can design a better programming language (that can co-exist with JavaScript) than Microsoft, Google, and Facebook.
